About the Role
Location: Burbank, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM (some flexibility with start time)
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00/HR (DoE) + benefits
Job duties:
Support and coordinate communications between the franchisee, headquarters, and various vendors, playing the central point of contact until new restaurants are successfully opened and operating, and until current restaurants are successfully upgraded and/or updated
Develop and maintain relationships with franchisees, acting as a liaison between corporate headquarters and franchise locations
Assist franchises with proper execution of business plans/changes and ensure that relevant activity is in compliance with corporate standards and requirements
Collect and manage franchise data (product requests, etc.) as needed
Coordinate and maintain Restaurant Menu Process Flow
Work and communicate with various departments to confirm proper execution of new menu rollout in a timely manner, such as communication, spelling, recipe updates, graphics and marketing
Ensure updated menus are available to all Franchisees, including but not limited to: updates with proper recipe information, workflow, orders, inventory tracking, invoices, payment and timely shipment
Review and maintain all menus – Dine-In, To-Go and Special menus
Support with various administrative duties, from menu updates, to recipe reviews and/or other administrative tasks, as needed
Coordinate orders, maintains and reviews restaurant’s tableware setting, such as plates, chopsticks, etc
Ensure franchisees orders and receive the correct tableware setting of restaurant’s standards
Coordinate all aspects of the restaurant bowls, from ordering, invoicing, tracking, payment processing, receiving, reviewing, storing, shipping and returns
Coordinate, review and update Franchisee contact list accordingly and communicate to proper department, vendors, etc., regarding news, updated contact and/or any relevant information
Facilitate communication between US/Japan companies under the company brands
Assist department and headquarters with office administrative duties, including but limited to, filing, copying, scanning, printing, answering phone calls, etc. and going above beyond to ensure company mission and values are achieved
Complete necessary ad-hoc reports, projects or tasks per department or upper management requests

Requirements:
Must be bilingual in Japanese/English
Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience in restaurant and/or hospitality industry
Extremely detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and able to react professionally to changes in schedules and/or project directions
Outstanding and professional verbal and written skills; with strong ability to multi-task.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to work independently and problem solve; ability to influence cross-functional departments to meet deliverables and deadlines
Must have knowledge of restaurant systems, including but not limited to ALOHA, CTUIT or other POS systems; knowledge of MS Office Suites and G Suite (Google Sheets, Hangouts, etc.); able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills with qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission. Exceptional organization and leadership skills
Must be dependable and reliable
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
