Sales Data Entry Clerk

About the Role

Location: Torrance, CA

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/HR (DoE)


Job duties include:

  • Insert sales data by from source documents within time limits

  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare data for computer entry

  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output

  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations

  • Scan documents and print files, when needed

  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Past experience in data entry is highly preferred

  • Must have strong PC and MS office (particularly excel) skills

  • Typing speed and accuracy

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness

  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

  • Past experience with Great Plains (GP) and/or EDI (automated orders) is a plus
