About the Role
Location: Torrance, CA
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/HR (DoE)
Job duties include:
Insert sales data by from source documents within time limits
Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare data for computer entry
Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
Scan documents and print files, when needed
Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Past experience in data entry is highly preferred
Must have strong PC and MS office (particularly excel) skills
Typing speed and accuracy
Attention to detail and thoroughness
Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Past experience with Great Plains (GP) and/or EDI (automated orders) is a plus
