About the Role
Location: Los Angeles, CA Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00AM to 5:00PM (Hybrid: work at office on Monday, Wednesday and one other day of your choice) Compensation: up to $55,000/YR* + benefits *parking for the office building will be $125 per month (will be paid out of pocket)
Main responsibilities are:
Answer and transfer phone calls, screening when necessary
Welcome and direct visitors and clients
Maintain filing system as assigned
Retrieve information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepare written summaries of data when needed
Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions
Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings and appointments for supervisors or managers
Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings
Record and distribute minutes or other records for meetings
Maintain office supplies and coordinate maintenance of office equipment
Administer accounts payable transactions and maintain a system for recording expenses
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
1-3 years of administrative assistant experience
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient PC and Microsoft Office Suite skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing
Bilingual in Japanese/English is a plus
