About the Role

Location: El Monte, CA Industry: Trading (Food) Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm (some OT may apply) Compensation:$60,000/YR + benefits


Job duties include:

Supervisory duties:

  • Coordinate with local vendors to resolve office, warehouse facility, parking, and other maintenance issues

  • Update, maintain, and coordinate a safety program based on OSHA and DOT program

  • Update and maintain leasing contracts for offices and Company autos, trucks and equipment

  • Ensure that the buildings are compliant with Health and Fire department regulations

  • Update and recordkeeping Company properties (Gas cards, Office keys, Cell phones, Cars, equipment etc.)

  • Follow-up auto accident and property damage claims and ensure correct reporting to appropriate vendors

  • Order office supplies as requested by departments

  • Update and maintain Company asset

  • Coordinate to relieve receptionist during breaks and time off

  • Greet and direct clients and visitors

  • Answer, forward, and screen phone calls


Hands-on duties:

  • Coordinate and/or support Company events and activities (Physical Inventory, Trade/Food Show, Stockholder’s & Directors meetings, etc.)

  • Building maintenance including inspections and testing

  • Prepare, review, update, and maintain legal business documents with company compliance, business insurance, liquor license, contracts, registration, and general business license for new and existing branches

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of office administration experience

  • Associate’s Degree or above required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in assignments and workload

  • Bilingual in Japanese/English is a plus!
