About the Role

  • Payroll processing

  • Administrative support in HR activity

  • Provide administrative support to the President and Chief Financial Officer, including but not limited to scheduling, data collection, recording meeting minutes, filing, copying and greeting guests

  • Make travel arrangements

  • Work with the parent company, the President, and the CFO to coordinate all transfers for Japanese expatriates

  • Work with the parent company and immigration attorney to receive and maintain Visa’s/Immigration records for Japanese associates

  • Work with companies to manage Japanese expatriates’ local payroll/salary.

  • Provide support to Japanese expatriates and their families to establish local living arrangements

  • Arrange and maintains certificate of insurance documents

  • Maintain company’s agreements and corporate documents

  • Conduct special projects and coordinate activities as directed

  • Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality for all personnel and financial matters

  • Promote an associate relations environment that is consistent with long term management goals and objectives

  • Translate (Japanese to/from English); emails, letters, and other reports as requested


  • Must be bilingual in Japanese/English

  • 2 years of administrative and/or HR experience

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both in writing and orally); ability to establish and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with internal and external contacts

  • Proficiency in Google drive and Google applications including GMAIL, Google docs, Google Sheets

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
