About the Role
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid Remote considered; office commute 2 days a week)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/HR (DoE) + benefits
Job duties include:
Book transportations, accommodations, and other travel services
Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Provide relevant information, brochures and publications
Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees
Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds
Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
Other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Japanese/English
Minimum 1-2 years experience in the travel industry
Strong PC and MS office skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Great time management and organizational skills
Personal travel experience is a plus
