About the Role

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid*; 2 days on site and 3 days remote) Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 5:30pm Compensation: up to $60,000/YR (DoE); Non-Exempt + benefits *subject to change as directed by management


Job duties include:

  • Work closely with Marketing Manager and Sales Team to help implement marketing agendas for US mainland, track sales and ticket sales data

  • Develop, execute, measure and optimize digital advertising, e-mail marketing and social media campaigns that stimulate traffic and increase brand awareness

  • Research sales and company’s usage trends for Asian tourists and company’s cardmembers who visit the US for mainland marketing agendas

  • Writing PR’s, marketing material copy, contents for company's website and social media accounts, and email marketing

  • Support maintaining company’s website and social media platforms

  • Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and develop ways to improve those campaigns

  • Provide marketing support, industry research and merchant advertising campaign support as needed for regional and national account managers

  • Work with affiliated financial establishments and merchants for joint initiatives and provide vendor support

  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, etc.)

  • Work with vendors to create and deliver advertising materials and promotional items for marketing agendas

  • Ensure department compliance with established standard policies and procedures

  • Supports Marketing group on all US marketing agendas

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in marketing/advertising/social media

  • Demonstrable experience with creating, developing web content and executing a social media strategy

  • Good knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants

  • Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, problem solving capabilities

  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team

  • Strong PC and MS Office skills

  • WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO experience a plus

  • Two years’ experience working in credit card, banking or finance industry a plus

  • Bilingual in English/Japanese is a plus!
