About the Role

Location: Torrance, CA Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000/YR (DoE); + benefits + bonus (including company car)


Main responsibilities are:


  • Increase profits by achieving sales targets and operating within budgetary guidelines

  • Communicate with or visit current and potential customers to increase sales

  • Research and identify potential customers; Conduct cold calls to new contacts

  • Analyze sales trends and operating efficiency, product presentations and best practices in order to maximize profit

  • Manage and expand customer accounts by contacting customers regularly via telephone, email, letters and in person to ascertain needs and keep business and information flowing smoothly

  • Attend “house” shows as necessary to introduce new products

  • Visit customers to pick up repairs, deliver orders, collecting payments, following up on past due accounts

  • Provide price quotes, proposals and credit terms to current and prospective customers

  • Make presentations about products and identity customer needs or problems in a timely manner

  • Perform marketing functions by following up on all product sales leads and inquiries

  • Represent the company by attending trade shows and other events to grow the company’s business

Requirements

  • Must have 2-3 years of outside sales experience

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills

  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

  • Proficient PC, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Great Plains

  • Understanding of Asian culture

  • Bilingual in English/Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus
