About the Role

Location: Dallas, Texas Industry: Logistics Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000/YR + benefits


Job duties include:


  • Generate leads and support sales manager/department to meet sales/revenue goals

  • Sales presentation and demonstrations; negotiating contract with potential clients

  • Research and find new clients

  • Visit existing and potential clients in USA and Mexico to evaluate needs and/or promote company products and services

  • Work with sales/marketing and related departments to expand all North American sales zones

  • Meet or exceed individual and company sales goals within schedule

  • Prepare various sales related reports requested by management and individual customer visit report in a timely manner

  • Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients

  • Plan sales schedules and business trips with marketing strategy

  • Prepare and calculate cost estimates to upper management

  • Prepare/update and submit quotations to new and existing clients

  • Prepare and submit service contracts for new clients

  • Negotiate all services contracts to include Terms of Service with prospective clients

  • Answer client questions about credit terms, services, prices and availability

  • Maintain good communication and client records

  • Research and find company’s subcontractors to expand business and/or increase revenue

  • Help management determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations

  • Generate leads for operation team about normal operation and billing process

  • Conduct semi annual customer survey and send feedback to operations team, upper management

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of sales experience in the logistics industry

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong PC and MS Office skills

  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers

  • Great presentation and negotiation skills

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics

  • Ability to grasp client needs and increase customer engagement

  • Analytical and time management skills

  • Bilingual in Japanese/English is a plus!
