About the Role
Location: Torrance, CA Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/HR (non-exempt)+ benefits + bonus
Employment Status: Full-Time; Direct-Hire
Job duties include:
Promptly and professional process all customer orders and quotation inquiries pursuant to company policies and procedures, elevating unresolved issues to management as needed
Participate in all order and date entry functions and all related customer service issues
Communicate daily with all customers and vendors by phone, email, fax and/or in person as needed to address each customer’s needs in a prompt and professional manner
Review and make any needed corrections to one’s own and co-worker’s work
Solicit sales of new products and accessories whenever possible
Interact with all internal departments, including external sales, and work closely and assist sales engineers as needed
Enter and maintain current, accurate documentation and files on all customers, distributors and potential customers within the given sales team; enter and maintain all data, including customer and sales data
Assist the Accounts Receivable Department in collecting delinquent payments as requests
Assist in yearly inventory count of product stored in warehouse
Assist in Spanish to English/English to Spanish translations
Perform other tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
2 years of customer service experience
Strong PC and MS Office skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Trilingual in Japanese/Spanish/English is a plus
