About the Role
Location: Torrance, CA
Industry: Logistics
Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm
Compensation: $22.00- $25.00/HR (DoE) + benefits
Job duties include:
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
Requirements
Must be bilingual in Spanish/English
Must have at least 2-3 years of warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience
Past experience as a lead/supervisor
Knowledge of SAP and inventory
Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Past experience with forklifts is a plus but not required
