About the Role
Location: Brea, CA Shift: Monday to Friday; 9:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: up to $70,000/YR (DoE) + benefits
Job duties include:
Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
Reconcile, adjust, and maintain balance sheet accounts
Compile, enter, and post monthly journal entry adjustments
Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and works closely with Accounting Manager to ensure the completion of a timely audit
Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable workload
Assist with tax computations and returns
Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
Interact with Accounting Manager and assists with daily projects
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
Minimum 5 years experience working as an accountant or similar role
Knowledge and proficiency of Accounting Principles
Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Great organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills
Confidentiality and integrity
Bilingual in English/Japanese is a plus!
